Roadmap to Defeat Obama, Liberals, Democrats and other enemies of Truth, Justice and the American Way

Yup, a long title for a long post. Republicans are adrift and in reaction mode to Obambi and the liberals. In order to take the offensive and put Defeatocrats on the road to exile in 2010 and 2012, Republicans and conservatives need a plan. There is no better example than the Contract with America, which brought Congress back into Republicans hands in 1994. Simple, direct and common sense measures.

Here they are (or at least as I see them)

THE TAKING BACK OUR COUNTRY ACT
Common sense immigration reform is needed now. Clearly, deporting 12 million illegals is not feasible, but closing the border, instituting common sense legalization and revamping the legal immigration system is needed. Republicans need to stand for fair LEGAL immigration and STOPPING illegal immigration.

THE HOUSING FAIRNESS AND STABILITY ACT
The Community Reinvestment Act must be repealed and replaced with legislation to encourage RESPONSIBLE home ownership, not just home buying. Lenders and borrowers can be encouraged through changes to the tax code to save and make financially sound home buying once again the cornerstone of the American dream. But it must be clear that home ownership is not a RIGHT that will be secured by the Federal Government, and obviously Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will require wholesale house cleaning (no pun intended) to make home ownership possible to RESPONSIBLE borrowers.

THE AMERICAN DREAM RESTORATION ACT
Marginal tax rates and full charitable deductions will be restored to undue the confiscatory policies of the Obambi Administration. The Child Tax Credit will be maintained and essentially the Bush Tax Cuts will be made permanent.

THE JOB CREATION AND WAGE ENHANCEMENT ACT
In addition to the above act, the business tax rate and the capital gains rate will be cut by 50% to encourage businesses, particularly small businesses to grow again. The "Mark to Market" rule will be repealed. Full secret ballots for union elections will be restored if needed to ensure fair and honest elections for unionization.

THE NATIONAL SECURITY RESTORATION ACT
A fully functional and in-depth missile defense shield will be developed and deployed, consisting of both land and sea based systems to ensure America and our allies security against Iranian, North Korean and other rogue states that will, unfortunately, have nuclear weapons and ballistic missile delivery systems by the end of 2010. Israel will be placed squarely under the American nuclear umbrella and the Global War on Islamic Fascism will be prosecuted toward victory. In Afghanistan and Pakistan, we will tell the rulers of Pakistan that if they don't control their borders and stop negotiating with terrorists, we will deal with the problem in our own way. If they want to be treated like a sovereign country, they need to act like one.

THE HEALTHY AMERICA ACT
Real health care reform means letting Americans use the free market to purchase and make their own health care decisions. Common sense insurance reforms to allow Americans a greater choice in purchasing their own insurance through tax credits will increase competition and force Americans to make BETTER decisions about their health care.

THE GENERATIONAL SECURITY ACT
Social Security and Medicare must be reformed now or a generational war will erupt in 10-20 years and tear this country apart. The Government's liabilities for the Baby Boomers dwarfs any bailout or spendulous bill passed by Obamabi and his allies. CONCRETE, COMMON SENSE steps must begin now to PRIVATIZE, yes, there's that word, Social Security or the tax increases to maintain current benefit levels WILL bankrupt this country. If 401Ks and IRAs are good enough for Americans, why not open the Federal Savings Plan used by all Federal employees to ALL Americans. Americans HAVE to make the the choice to manage their retirement planning and not count on the government. Fortunately, in spite of Obambi and the Defeatocrats, most, if not all Americans have some idea about investing and managing their retirement, and the rest of the folks better learn fast. Our grandkids are not going to pay a 50% FICA tax to fund our retirement, period.

Well, there it is, rude and crude, but Republicans need some talking points and a plan to point to when American asks, "What's your idea?" instead of letting Obambi spread his lies about Republicans wanting to say no, do nothing, and let America fail. Nothing could be further from the truth, but without a concrete manifesto, to use the Commie saying, there is nothing to stand on.

THE NATIONAL SECURITY RESTORATION ACT
No U.S. troops under U.N. command and restoration of the essential parts of our national security funding to strengthen our national defense and maintain our credibility around the world.

THE SENIOR CITIZENS FAIRNESS ACT
Raise the Social Security earnings limit, which currently forces seniors out of the work force, repeal the 1993 tax hikes on Social Security benefits and provide tax incentives for private long-term care insurance to let Older Americans keep more of what they have earned over the years.

THE JOB CREATION AND WAGE ENHANCEMENT ACT
Small business incentives, capital gains cuts and indexation, neutral cost recovery, risk assessment/cost-benefit analysis, strengthening the Regulatory Flexibility Act and unfunded mandate reform to create jobs and raise worker wages.

THE COMMON SENSE LEGAL REFORM ACT
"Loser pays" laws, reasonable limits on punitive damages and reform of product liability laws to stem the endless tide of litigation.
