I Love It When I'm Right-But Not about this!

As previously predicted, Obambi (or as the new bumper sticker says OneBigAssMistakeAmerica) is now officially going to repay the porkulus part I, and his future porkulus bill giveaways to his Defeatocratic allies (unions, ACORN, MoveOn.Org) by losing (or downsizing) the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Look for WONDERFUL news coming soon from Iraq so we can yank our troops out and look for head shaking and finger waging at our NATO and Afghan allies as an excuse to yank our troops out of Afghanistan by the end on next year. It's gonna happen.....

Yup, saw this one a mile off...the only place to cut the budget for a Defeatocrat is the military budget.

Oh, and because they're not stupid enough, Obamabi and his pals are also going to raise taxes on the investor class (read anyone with a 401K or any type of investment) to help pay for his porkulus spending.

Don't kid yourself, anything you hear about these porkulus programs ever expiring IS A LIE. Government programs rarely, if ever die, and any tax goody giveaway will become an entitlement. THE only way to pay for Obambi's greatest desire-universal health coverage-is to screw young people over by making them part of the system whether they like it or not to help pay for the Baby Boomers.

MARK MY WORDS, this country within 1o years will not be faced with a boring old class war, there will instead be a generational war that will make any previous cultural, class, race, gender, whatever pale by comparison. When everyone born after 1980 finds out just how bad they are going to get screwed by the Baby Boomers, it's gonna get ugly.

My wife asked the other day if we should start putting twenties under the mattress...something to think about...

The Drumbeat of Surrender Continues

Well, as predicted in a previous posts here and here
the left is starting its usual pattern in Afghanistan that they also tried in Iraq
1) Compare the war to Vietnam
2) Talk about how we have more pressing domestic needs at home

Repeat as needed until the lamestream media convinces the Obambi Administration that Afghanistan is lost, throw in some apathetic and quite frankly pathetic NATO allies that won't pony up troops, add some Iranian machinations and you have a sure fire recipe for failure in Afghanistan.

But, hey when you are giving ALL the left-wing groups and unions that (fraudulently) got you the votes $1,000,000,000,000 in taxpayer dollars, WHO cares about those pesky terrorists. Hey, just arrest them all and jail them in John Murtha's (D-PA) district. Those "rednecks" and "hillbillys" will take care of them.

Review of The Pope, the President and the Prime Minister

For those revisionist historians that believe that history just happens and the tide of economics or human nature controls our destiny, this book is a real paradigm buster. The story of Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul the Great and Margaret Thatchter truly shows the Providential hand of the Almighty in bringing these three great leaders together at the right time in history. This combination history/biograpy shows how, contrary to CNN, Ted Turner and the academic left historians, these 3 towering figures directly contributed to the fall of the Soviet Union and the Western VICTORY in the Cold War. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to see how one person, or in this case, three people can make a difference.

I was going through the CD collection and came across my ORIGINAL first edition of Chess the Musical.

I remember seeing this on stage in London when I was a brand new Ensign in 1987 with some of my friends from the Naval Academy, one of whom has sadly passed away. This was the first, and last musical I watched until I got married to a musical fiend. But that's another post.

This was a great musical, even though it was written by ABBA, and was certainly a Cold War timepiece.

I still love the music, here's one of my favorite songs. "Nobody's on Nobody's Side" by Elaine Page

DIG that 80's hair.
